StrikeAd was set up by entrepreneurs Alex Rahaman and Simon Wajcenberg in 2010 to satisfy the global need for a streamlined media planning and buying environment on mobile. StrikeAd FusionTM is the world's first dedicated mobile Demand-Side-Platform (DSP).

Alex Rahaman - CEO

Alex Rahaman - CEO

Alex is an experienced Mobile Advertising entrepreneur. Prior to StrikeAd, in 2007, he launched and ran the Unanimis (Orange) Mobile Ad Network in the UK, which he grew significantly following Unanimis' sale to France Telecom in 2009. At Unanimis, he launched Premium, In-App and Network Mobile Ad offerings, and launched Orange Shots, an opt-in mobile messaging advertising programme. Prior to that, as CFO of Unanimis, Alex was a key member of the Board and Exec Team which drove Unanimis to become the leading independent web adsales business in the UK. In 2006 Alex wrote the first business plan and led the spin out of its ad tech subsidiary, OpenX, and subsequent funding to Index and Accel. OpenX is now a multi $100m ad exchange. In 2000 Alex co-founded and was COO of Jeego, now a venture backed mobile greetings company. He started his career at Price Waterhouse where he qualified as an accountant. Michael Dewhirst – CTO

Michael is a veteran senior IT professional and a pioneer in the mobile industry having worked in the sector since the early WAP days of 2000. Michael started his career working in a series of increasingly senior roles for companies including British Aerospace, M&C Saatchi, Deutschebank and JP Morgan culminating in working on the launch of Vodafone Live! in 2002. Michael is an experienced entrepreneur: In 2003 he founded DevzeroG, a global software company for the advertising and publishing markets. DevzeroG's award-winning products were adopted by many leading media companies including News International, The Guardian and NTT and in 2007 the company was acquired by Adstream Pty. Prior to StrikeAd, Michael was CTO of The Digital Property Group, driving the development of several new versions of the Findaproperty.com, Primelocation.com and Globrix.com portals and delivering an augmented reality property search mobile app. At StrikeAd Michael is responsible for all products, systems, integration with third parties and pretty much everything that has a bit or a byte in it. Paul is a seasoned senior sales professional with over 10 years commercial experience selling across mobile, digital, DOOH, national & regional press; consumer and trade based magazines. Paul started his career in publishing at Euromoney Publications and continued to work in increasingly senior roles for some of the UK's leading media owners including Future publishing, Independent News & Media, City A.M, Thomson Reuters and Telegraph Media Group. Prior to joining StrikeAd Paul was a Sales Manager at Unanimis (Orange) Mobile Advertising Network. Paul joined StrikeAd in January 2011 and is responsible for UK sales operations. Simon Wajcenberg - COO

Simon Wajcenberg - Non-Executive Chairman

Simon is an entrepreneur with a stellar track record in founding pioneering global digital businesses. Simon started his career working as a trader for Morgan Grenfell. Within 2 years he had founded his first venture. Over the next 15 years Simon went on to found and build numerous successful businesses. Stocknet.co.uk, founded in 1998, was one of the UK's first online stock brokerages. In 1999 Simon founded Freequotes.co.uk, the UK's first real-time share price information provider and TMN Plc, one of the first online direct marketing companies, which was listed on AIM in 2000. TMN today has a market capitalisation in excess of £70M. In 2006 Simon founded Clash Media, a global online lead generation network. Today Clash is a £25M digital advertising business with over 100 staff operating in 10 countries. Simon has extensive international board-level expertise, vast experience in M&A and was a winner in the finals of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Thomas Falk - Non-Executive Chairman

After founding Falk eSolutions in 1998, Thomas quickly steered his company to become one of the most sought-after suppliers of adserving-solutions for online marketing. Falk eSolutions grew rapidly and implemented an aggressive internationalization strategy. In 2006 Thomas sold his company to DoubleClick, where he held the position as President EMEA and built up a reliable international business network. Thomas left DoubleClick when it was acquired by Google.
